Rock Stability

Teico Overseas are highly competent in the analyses, design, planning and implementation of stability measures of rock slopes and walls for a specified types of failures, including a planar or polygonal slip surface or soil (rock) wedge.

Rock foundations are often seen as one of the sturdiest foundation material but it too needs to be stabilized in many engineering projects. Rock stability concerns typically include wedge sliding, overturning, slope stability, and rock falls. Rock mass behavior is mainly controlled by jointing, although, rock stability evaluation is almost never completed with simple wedge analyses. Highly experienced geotechnical engineers are needed to analyze both the onsite rock slope stability as well as the data gathered through modern technology and software.
